According to the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal, a condo which belonged to late Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher has sold for $2.2 million.

Rechelbacher, who passed in 2012, owned a total of three units at the acclaimed Phoenix on the River building. Located in the St. Anthony Main neighborhood on the banks of the Mississippi River, the building is one of the city's most desirable with arguably the best views in Minneapolis.

Purchased by a med technology executive, the 5,900 square foot is the least substantial of the three units currently available. Listed for sale in July of this year, the full estate had been offered for sale for $8 million, with a total of 11,777 square feet.
