On an unusually warm November day, the construction crew at the Mill District City Apartments paused for only a moment so Mayor R.T. Rybak could make a toast to another great development soon to unveil in Downtown Minneapolis. During the ceremonial “Ribbon Cutting” Mayor Rybak applauded the efforts and collaboration of luxury apartment developer Village Green, contractor Frana Companies and lender USBank for pulling together a top notch rental community amidst a challenging economy.
Village Green has built up a reputation for building exciting, dynamic communities that have been a hit with urban renters. Mill District City Apartments is nothing short of an exciting community. As if the amenity rich environment surrounding the new apartments wasn’t enough to attract new residents, Village Green truly ratcheted up the amenities within its own confines. Residents at the Mill District City Apartments will have their very own 14,000 square foot park with sunken rock gardens, private cabanas and water features adjacent to a year-round swimming pool complete with an indoor/outdoor movie screen. The building also features a “radically” equipped 24/7 fitness center, a clubroom and an overall décor that rivals a trendy boutique hotel.
Designed in collaboration with BKV Group Architects residents will have over 30 different floor plans and a total of 175 units to choose from ranging from 500 square feet up to 1,400 square feet. Current rental rates will range from around $1,000 a month for efficient studio spaces to penthouse style living for around $2,600 a month.
Set amongst an array of luxury condo and loft options, the Mill District City Apartments fills in one of the last remaining undeveloped parcels in the area and nicely rounds out the housing options available in the Mill District.
Future residents will have to anxiously hold tight until January 25th for the building’s official grand opening. In the meantime reservations continue to fill up and the buzz keeps building. Inquire today to claim your spot!
