Bloomington MN Condos and Townhomes

A postwar suburb with 85,000 citizens, Bloomington is the fifth-largest Minnesota city by population. At thirty-eight square miles in land area, it is two-two thirds the size of Minneapolis. One-third of Bloomington's land is dedicated to parks and nature reserves, a very large public-open-space percentage, locally and nationally. The city's diverse housing stock is healthy, with increases in both numbers of residential units and in property values. The city's self-image is "peaceful, friendly neighborhoods."

Because of the Mall of America, the adjacent international airport, and continuous (and continuing) commercial development along the I-494 corridor, the northern edge of Bloomington functions economically as the Twin Cities' third downtown—second, really, after downtown Minneapolis-The University of Minnesota, and ahead of downtown St. Paul. Normandale Community College, opened in 1968 and periodically expanded, offers post-secondary education.
