2615 PARK 2615 Park Avenue South, Minneapolis By early in the Twentieth Century, Minneapolis elites had gravitated to three locales: "Lumber" lived along Mount Curve Avenue, "Flour" around Fair Oaks Park, and other community leaders along Park Avenue. While that social order was passing by the time 2615 Park was built at the end of the Roaring 20s, Park Avenue's cachet was still potent. Thus it is not surprising that this elegant cooperative was built here, in a sophisticated architectural mix of Tradition and fashion, illustrated by its classic formal layout and marvelous Art Deco lobby. Individual apartments are nicely scaled, not oversized, and carefully detailed; the paneling in some apartments is superb. A heated underground garage with 24-hour attendants is a gracious carryover from the living standards of its original residents.
