Mill District - Minneapolis Lofts and Condos
Compared to other large American cities, Minneapolis society and thus Minneapolis neighborhoods have been balanced, without extremes, what historian David Gebhard described as a city with "the top and bottom cut off." That has certainly been true until recently. Minneapolis is never experienced a celebrity culture, and so boasts no glitzy neighborhoods like those found in Miami Beach and Beverly Hills. At the other extreme, thanks in a good part to the city's conscientious attention to housing revitalization, none of the physical desolation of, say, Houston's fourth ward is evident in Minneapolis either.
At the top end of the Minneapolis condo spectrum you have the Mill District. True to Minnesota character, being humble and understated, the exteriors of the buildings found in the Mill District are just that. Open the door however and be prepared to be amazed. The Mill District is home to some of the most impressive architecture and design the Minneapolis condo market has to offer.
