Saint Paul Condos: New Condominium Developments

Lowertown is named for its close proximity to St. Paul's primary docking point of old—Lower Landing—and was a hotbed for condo developers. Lowertown experienced an influx of new construction condominiums such as Printers Row, Dakota on the Park, Essex on the Park, Lot 270, as well as impressive conversions like the Ninth Street Lofts, Great Northern Lofts, Union Depot Lofts, Market House and the River Park Lofts.

Rice Park is also home to a beautiful loft conversion of a medical arts building known as the Lowry. Currently undergoing renovation in the heart of Downtown St. Paul is the Fitzgerald building, which neighbors the Shubert Theater. The Fitzgerald will soon be home to a number of affordable Saint Paul condos with loft-style high ceilings and large windows.

Rossmor Lofts was once home to a bustling shoe factory, but was converted in 2002 into loft residences. Retail space on the ground floor includes restaurants, the 9th Street Entry Art Gallery, and shops.

Condominiums are not a new concept in the heart of Downtown, with buildings like the pioneering 1981 Gallery Tower Condominiums and City Walk Condos, built in 1982, which feature direct skyway access.
