Client Testimonials
Hi Amy! I just wanted to send you a short note to thank you for the incredible job you did in helping me "settle" in to the Crossings. As I explained to you …. my entire life was in flux. Through your diligence, understanding and perseverance I am now very happily settled in to the Crossings and completely at peace in my life. While I have a long road of "repair" ahead of me I like to think that because of you my life is very different. I appreciate all that you did to assist me, the late evening phone calls and emails, following up on the parking space, etc. You were able to see through my eyes how desperately I wanted the condo but also how desperately I needed positive change in my life.
Thank you so much Amy, for everything. I would recommend you to anyone who asks! (and probably even those that don't).

Working with Amy has been absolutely phenomenal. With an extremely tight schedule of finding a new apartment and buying a car within 2 days, I owe it to Amy to help me get the job done. Through the extensive emailing back and forth from Taiwan/Boston/Florida, Amy has been reachable at all times and had answers to all my questions.
Dedicating her time to me during my 2 day visit, Amy gave me a personal tour of the different parts of the city. Understanding my needs, Amy knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me the perfect apartment - I fell in love with it instantly. Nobody could have done a better job than Amy.

Andy, I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help so far. You have been so patient, professional and extremely helpful. I know that you have probably found us to be strange with all our unusual questions. Well, with cultural differences, it is not so easy to transfer around the world and get accustomed to different ways. Thanks for your understanding.

I have practiced real estate law in outstate Minnesota for nearly 40 years and have worked with scores -- maybe hundreds -- of realtors. In the past year my wife and I have had the opportunity to work with Andy Asbury in the purchase of a downtown Mpls "metro cabin", and later the exchange of that "cabin" for another. No one could have done a better job than Andy. He has been at all times responsive to our requests and on top of every detail. He leaves nothing to chance. We have recommended him to many friends who are looking for homes or second homes in the metro area.

In the summer of 2008, my fiancé Meagan and I decided that with the wedding fast approaching the following May, it was time to find a home to start our lives together, preferably a place of our own and not our parent’s basement. At the time, Meagan was renting in Uptown, and with all of the great nightlife, restaurants, and parks in the area, as well as the proximity to downtown and both of our jobs, it was the best place to begin the search.
We soon discovered the process of searching listings in the area was incredibly frustrating and time consuming. Various real estate websites reported listings in a disorganized and confusing fashion, making it difficult to focus in on specific neighborhoods or building developments. This is when we came across Andy’s website, MinnesotaLoftsandCondos.com. Andy has organized his site so that you can search for listings by the neighborhoods as we know them in Minneapolis, as well as by individual building development. Meagan and I would take walks through the neighborhoods we pictured ourselves in, take notice of the buildings we liked, and go straight to Andy’s website when we got home to see what was available. Andy also provides history and details behind hundreds of building developments in the area. It was truly our one-stop shop for condo hunting.
We first met Andy last summer at a free condo and loft seminar he puts on regularly. Being first-time home buyers, we were completely clueless when it came to starting the search, financing our home, credits and grants that are available, and what to look for in our first place. Andy walked us through the process from start to finish and left us confident that we would be able to find a place that fit our needs and make the purchase as painless as possible.
In early October 2008, we contacted Andy to ask if he could start showing us some available units in the area. From his website, I sent him a few links of places we were interested in along with our budget. From this, he was able to locate some additional units we had overlooked but might be interested in (all of them were right on the mark!). What Meagan and I were most amazed of was his inside-out knowledge of every building in the city. When he took us to tour a dozen units we were interested in, he was able to provide details about every building from how strong the association is, to the reputation of the developer, to the neighborhood amenities, to the quality of workmanship that went into the building and to the relative value of the units compared to others on the market. Andy’s understanding of and passion for the Twin Cities condo market made him best suited to fit our needs or the needs of anyone buying in the area.
After our first trip out to look at units, we made an offer on the second listing we ever saw in the Art Quarters Lofts building. Andy walked us through the offer process at 11pm on a Friday night and was kind enough to answer all of the nervous questions we had as first-time home buyers late that night in his office. Early in the next week, we had a signed contract and a price that was better than we were hoping for.
Andy continued to answer all of our questions as well as serve and oblige all of our nagging needs right through closing. Always available by phone and email, I had no doubts or questions left by the time it was over. Even after closing when I had an important question about our place and did not know who to look to (again, late on a Friday night), I called Andy and he helped me all the way through. Start to finish, working with Andy was the easiest and most fulfilling home buying experience I could have imagined and we look forward to working with him again in the future.
